WARD A, C1, C2, D GEARS UP FOR LG POLLS; GIVES ASSURANCE OF MEGA VOTES

As the July 12, 2025 Local Government elections draw near, the political momentum is building in Ibeju-Lekki as residents prepare to elect leaders expected to shape the future of the fast-developing coastal corridor. Themed not merely as an election, but as a decisive movement for sustainable development and people-focused governance, the polls are drawing increased attention from stakeholders and citizens alike. Frontlining the campaign on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa on a joint ticket with his Vice, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji who, along with leaders of note of the All Progressives Congress (APC) team, is seeking a mandate rooted in a clear policy agenda. WARD A At the house of Kabiyesi Agbabiaka in Ibeju-Agbe Town, all Ward A residents gathered to meet with notable leaders such as His Excellency, Alhaji Bode Kashif Oyedele, Alhaji Tunde Isiaq, Hon. Isiaka Logun Akinwunmi, Hon. Tansiru Shoniyi, Director-General of the Campaign Organization, Hon. Babatunde Quadri Idogun, Special Adviser to the Governor on Taxation and Revenue, Hon. Abdul-Kabir Opeyemi Ogungbo, Hon. Raheem Kazeem, Hon. Idowu Eletu, Hon. Monsuru Oludaisi Kazeem, Hon. Muslim Folami, Party Chairman, Hon. Aliasau Eletu amongst other party chieftains. The message from the leaders was that of large vote turnout in order to make Ibeju-Lekki be at a vantage position. WARD C1 The procession moved to Orofun, opposite the Atlantic Bay Hotel as the same message of passing a strong signal on the election was conveyed by the leaders. Party Chieftains who spoke described the All Progressives Congress as experienced and performance-driven, citing strides made in governance, community engagement, and grassroots inclusion over recent years. They urged the voters to turn out in large numbers to consolidate on what they call a tested and visionary path. WARD C2 At the Community Primary School Iberekodo, the campaign trains were at the ancient community as they gladly told the people that the election is about choosing continuity, results, and the future of Ibeju-Lekki as they called on all residents to come out in unity and vote decisively. WARD D At Ward D, the procession took the journey to Solu-Jegi which is at the extreme of Ward D as the campaign train was joined by Hon. Bayo Balogun and the Special Adviser on Energy and Mineral Resources, Hon. Abiola Okanlawon Olowu as Solu-Alade after which the entire team berthed at the Ogungbo compound in Idado. The APC campaign continues to emphasize that the stakes go beyond partisan politics, calling for a collective commitment to progress, prosperity, and participatory governance at the grassroots level. The Ward rally for Ward B, E and F continues tomorrow as Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa together with his Vice, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, keeps getting the nod of the electorate for a second term in office.
