The Executive Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, today attended the 3-Day Onboarding/Retreat for Elected Councillors from the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Areas of Lagos State, held at Novatel Hotels.

The retreat, themed “Building Capacity for Improved Legislation and Representation at the Grassroots,” was designed to strengthen the legislative competence, leadership skills, and representative responsibilities of councillors, with a focus on effective grassroots governance, people-oriented lawmaking, and inclusive development. Hon. Olowa’s participation underscores his unwavering commitment to capacity building, good governance, and empowering elected officials to deliver meaningful dividends of democracy to communities at the grassroots level.
