SECURITY:FORWARD OPERATING BASE VISITS IBEJU-LEKKI COUNCIL CHAIR

The Forward Operation Base led by Commander Bukata Clement Bulus on Thursday 21st August, 2025 visited the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, a visit targeted at grassroots sensitization campaign aimed at bridging the gap between the Military and the communities, in a push to strengthen civil-military relations and build public trust. While welcoming the officers, Hon. Olowa expressed his delight as he recounted the past wonderful relationships his administration had enjoyed with past heads of security agencies. The Mayor acknowledged the importance of security as it is a joint effort. He concluded that he will love to have a smooth working relationship with the Forward Operation Base as his door is open to advice. Commander Bukata Clement who spoke on behalf of other officers present, thanked the Executive Chairman for the warm reception as he affirmed that the routine visits around the Ibeju-Lekki/Lekki axis corridor wouldn't have been complete without calling on him. He assured the Council Boss of continued support as the collaboration will surely be of greater benefit to the citizenry. An award plaque was also presented to the Executive Chairman by the Commander of the Forward Operation Base
