OUNJE IBEJU-LEKKI: OLOWA CONTINUES THE FREE FOOD PACKS DISTRIBUTION ACROSS IBEJU LEKKI COMMUNITIES

As part of measures taken to relief the people off, the high cost of food items and high inflation presently experienced at the Market as the yuletide season approaches. The Executive Chairman of ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon.(Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa on Monday 23rd December, 2024 has continue with the distribution of the Free Ounje ibeju-Lekki Food Packs to residents and communities within the local government. Speaking at St. John Mission School, also kown as Aiyeteju Primary School, venue of distribution of the Free Food Packs to Ward B Members the Council Mayor attributed the slight change in distribution of the Free Food Packs to the Lagos State Safety Commission whom are on ground to Coordinate and Monitor the Control of crowd duration the duration of the Programme. He noted that maximum security has been put in place by Men in Uniform, of the Nigeria Army and Nigeria Police respectively to ensure orderliness and safety of the people and guard against unscrupulous entities and unknown personel that might want to hijack the programme contrary to the original plan of the government. He implored all to be orderly and ensure that they provides their ward tickets which is the access key to collect the free food packs. The Distribution at Ward B, lasted for an hour after which the Helmsman proceeded to ward A, in continuation of the exercise and rounded up at Idado Primary School, where distribution of Free Food Packs to residents of Ward D took place accordingly.
