The Provost of the Lagos State Cooperative College (LASCOCO), Dr. Adebosin Walid on Monday 26th August, 2025 paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa. He was accompanied by the former Provost, Dr. Akorede Ojomu, and received in the presence of the Council Manager, Mr. Abiodun Oladipupo Otinwa. Dr. Walid commended Hon. Olowa for his foresight in empowering the youths of Ibeju-Lekki, particularly through the government’s sponsorship of students at LASCOCO. With tuition, hostel, and upkeep fully covered, the initiative has given young people the rare chance to focus on skill acquisition, preparing them for jobs, entrepreneurship, and global opportunities. The visit also doubled as a celebration of Hon. Olowa’s re-emergence for a second term, underscoring the strong partnership between LASCOCO and Ibeju-Lekki Local Government. Together, both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to building skills today that will secure a brighter future for tomorrow.
