The need to engage in continuous training is crucial for officers to enhance effective service delivery and maximise productivity of the workforce. These were the words of the Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, the Executive Chairman of ibeju- Lekki Local Government as he declared open the One day training workshop on Public Service Rules, Code of Ethics and ICT Compliance, organised by ibeju-Lekki Local Government and facilitated by Bright Konsult And Associates Limited for Middle Level Officers of the prestigious council at the Council Secretariat in Igando. Speaking at the event, the Mayor emphasized strongly on the need by Officers to unlearn and learn new ways, approach, skills of discharging their respective official duties so as to be on top of their job and exercise a high level of competence at various level appropriately. He noted that a Competent officer is an inestimable asset to an organisation and most likely becomes the boss favorite due to the knowledge of the work Finally, he charged all participants at the training to embrace continuous learning via relevant training and ensure that, they add positive values to their respective works in the organisation. Also speaking at the event, the Head of Administration and Council Manager reteirated the need to engage contineous training of personel so as to bring out the best in each officers and maximise their potentials effectively. Participants at the one day training workshop had a very engaging, informative and educative time as Mrs Ishola from Magodo takes them through Public Service Rules, Code of Ethics, and Financial Regulation. Comrade Ayodeji Adebayo, The Need for ICT Compliance to enhance service delivery. While Former Commissioner from Epe Division, Hon. Abduwaheed Olabode Gabadeen takes the last session on Stress Management. Notable Attendees at the one day training includes ,The Executive Chairman, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, The Council Manager, Mr. Otinwa Oladipupo Abiodun, The Head, Admin and Human Resources, Director Sotubo Adeyemi David, the Council Treasurer, Mrs Shakirat Oshun and Mini Level officers selected across all departments and Units of the organisation.
