OLOWA BESTOWED WITH FELLOWSHIP AWARD BY LAGOS STATE COOPERATIVE COLLEGE

Lagos State Cooperative College held its 2nd Convocation Ceremony on 14th, May 2025 at the institute"s premise located at Johnson Agric Complex, old Abeokuta Road, Agege, Lagos. The institution in recognition and Commendation of the contribution of the Executive Chairman of Ibeju- Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa to Human Capacity development of students , especially youths by his administration within ibeju lekki communities and growth of the institution, presented the Mayor, with the Fellowship Award from the institute. Presenting the Award at the event to the Mayor was the representative of the Moderator, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, ably represented by the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Commerce, Cooperative, Trade and Investment, Mrs Folashade Ambrose-Medebem. Amongst other recipients of the Fellowship Award were Former Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos, Professor Olanrewaju .A. Fagbohun, Mr.Samuel Avwerosuo Egube, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Hon. Oladele Oluwadamilare Ajayi, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency 2, The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali. The Best Graduating Student in National Diploma, Microfinance and Enterprise Development, 2023/2024 Academic Session goes to Miss AHMED ABIKE, one of the beneficiary of the Scholarship programme initiated by the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa. Speaking at the event during interview, Miss Ahmed Abike who came out with a distinction, in her field of study, expressed profound gratitude and appreciation to the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa for his Magnanimity in helping her academic pursuit via the scholarship. She further enjoined youths and students to be courageous and belief in themselves irrespective of the situation they might be experiencing. Noting that, with Focus, Hard Work, Commitment and Prayer, their dream will come to fruition. .
