A team comprising of officials of of the Lagos State Ministry of Energy and major investors in the Lagos State Independent Power Project (IPP) was at the Local Government today Wednesday 26th March, 2025 for onsite inspection of the proposed energy hub in Ibeju Agbe. The team was led by Mrs. Khadijat Disu Agunbiade and Mr Kenny Awe. As part of the project inspection tour, the team paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa at the Council Secretariat. The proposed energy hub will host the Gas Fire project by the Lagos State Government. The power generation facility will bridge the energy gap in the region and the entire state. Local Government Officials who welcomed the team with the Executive Chairman includes, Leader of the legislative Council Hon. Mojeed Olayinka, The Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo, Special Adviser on Works, Hon. Fatai Alonge, Councillors, the Council Manager, Mr. Otinwa and other Management staff
