MAYOR OLOWA PRESENTS OFFICIAL VEHICLES TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT LEGISLATORS

In the spirit of the celebration of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa led Administration one year in office and as part of activities lined-up for the commemoration marking the celebration, the Executive Chairman today Tuesday 23rd August, 2022 presented the Leader of the 6th Legislative House and other Legislative Members with official vehicles. The gesture is geared towards effective service delivery in other for Honorable Councillors to perform their oversight functions as well as have mobile access to communities and Wards they represent. The Mayor in his short speech during the presentation of the six (6) Lexus 350 and 330 SUV's emphasised on the importance of Legislature in Nation building while challenging the beneficiaries to continue to be the mouthpiece of the people they represent and give adequate support to his Administration to achieve its desired goal. The Council Mayor, however promised to purchase additional official vehicles for the use of Members of the Executive Council and Management Members in the nearest future. The tape cutting and presentations was done by Hon. Prince Bayo Balogun, Member, Federal House of Representative, Ibeju-Lekki alongside the Executive Chairman of the Council. Also present at the occasion were the Council's Vice Chairman,Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo other Executive Members, Special Advisers and Assistants, Management Team, Party faithfuls and other well wishers. This is a proof of better things to come from this enviable and performing Olowa led Administration.
