IMPROVING ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE, THE TRANSFORMATION OF ARAPAGI PHC

At the beginning of this administration, the Arapagi Primary Health Care Center, located in a riverine area, was in a moribund state. Pregnant women and the sick often struggled to access quality healthcare, leading to avoidable mortality in many cases. Today, the residents of Arapagi are delighted to have a fully functional Primary Health Care Center. The facility is now equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and staffed by qualified medical personnel employed by the Local Government Council, ensuring full clinical services are available to the community. Furthermore, the Health Care Center will serve the neighboring communities, including Arapagi, Idi-Ori, Agbowa-Onibeju, Oloko, Dongo, Ajegbenwa, Taluko, Tagbati, and several other riverine areas.
