IBEJU-LEKKI VICE CHAIRMAN AND SUPERVISOR FOR HEALTH INSPECT PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRES IN BOGIJE, ELEMORO, AND IBEJU-AGBE

In a continued push to enhance healthcare delivery, the Vice Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, who also serves as Supervisor for Works, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, accompanied by the Supervisor for Health, Hon. Aje Saheed, conducted a comprehensive on-site inspection of selected Primary Health Centres (PHCs) across the Council today Thursday 12th March, 2026. The inspection focused on Bogije, Elemoro, and Ibeju-Agbe Primary Health Care Centres. The visit assessed the current condition of the facilities, pinpointed urgent areas for intervention, and evaluated required upgrades to deliver safer, more efficient, and accessible healthcare services to residents. Preliminary findings revealed a range of structural and environmental needs, including building renovations, interior improvements, enhanced external access (such as road filling), improved drainage systems, and other essential works. This initiative aligns with the unwavering commitment of the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, to revitalize the Primary Healthcare Infrastructure, promote preventive care, and provide quality services that address the needs of Ibeju-Lekki communities. In a separate statement, the Executive Chairman assures the good people of Ibeju-Lekki that these efforts are part of a broader agenda to transform healthcare delivery at the grassroots level.
