The future of skills development in Ibeju-Lekki has found a home.
Unveiled as the proposed hub of the Ibeju-Lekki Career Accelerator Programme, this fully equipped ICT Training Centre is a flagship initiative under the SHIEELD Agenda of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, designed to prepare young people with the skills, knowledge and competencies required to thrive in a rapidly evolving economy.
Designed as a modern digital learning hub, the facility will provide the platform for practical training in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, financial education, communication, leadership development and workforce readiness. The proposed Career Accelerator Programme is being developed in strategic collaboration with Genzaar, Africa Fintech Foundry (AFF), the German Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ) through its Centres for Migration and Development (ZME) Programme, and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, bringing together government, development and private sector expertise to create new pathways for opportunity.
As Ibeju-Lekki continues to emerge as one of Nigeria's foremost economic and industrial corridors, the administration is investing not only in infrastructure but also in the capacity of its people. The ICT Training Centre reflects that vision by creating the foundation for a workforce equipped to compete, innovate and lead in an increasingly technology driven world.
