The Pan-Atlantic University SEED Programme review session held on Friday 22nd August, 2025 was a moment of pride for Ibeju-Lekki, as the impact of the local government’s education initiatives came to the fore. Present at the event, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, joined stakeholders to witness the success of students who passed through the weekend tutorial programme introduced by his administration. From the initiative, 20 public school students earned full scholarships from Pan-Atlantic University, a result that brought an emotional sense of fulfillment to all in attendance. The highlight of the day was further strengthened by the announcement of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University, who revealed that the institution will distribute computer tablets to all SS3 students in public secondary schools across Ibeju-Lekki. This gesture is set to boost digital learning and improve academic preparedness for final-year students. In his remarks, Hon. Olowa expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has made the success of the programme possible, the dedicated students, the committed teachers, and Pan-Atlantic University for their partnership. He noted that their combined efforts have turned a simple weekend initiative into a life-changing opportunity for many young people. The scholarships and digital support announced at the review stand as proof that when communities, educators, and institutions work hand in hand, education becomes a ladder of hope. For Ibeju-Lekki, this is not just a victory for today’s students but a foundation for a brighter future.
