The Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Revenue Enforcement and Environmental Teams recently embarked on an exercise of comprehensive enumeration of shops and business outlets across the Local Government Area. This exercise aims to identify and capture all traders and business owners within the locality into the local government’s revenue database, thereby ensuring proper documentation, accountability, and increased revenue generation. The initiative will also help in streamlining tax collection, promoting environmental compliance, and enhancing community development efforts through improved internally generated revenue (IGR). On this note,the Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa led Local Government Administration is urging all business owners and traders to cooperate with the team during the exercise to ensure smooth and accurate data collection for the benefit of all residents.
