As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) drive of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, under the administration of the dynamic Council Boss, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, the Supervisor for Market and Revenue, Hon. Prince Ahmed Ajibola Elemoro on the 29th June, 2026 embarked on a monitoring tour of several communities to assess the level of compliance with approved revenue payments and curb revenue leakages.
The inspection covered Onosa, Elesekan, Bogije, Kajola, Lakowe, Eputu, Abijo, and Ogunfayo, where the Supervisor engaged relevant stakeholders and emphasized the importance of prompt and lawful revenue payment in support of sustainable community development.
Hon. Elemoro reiterated that the Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa-led administration remains committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and improved service delivery through efficient revenue administration, thereby guaranteeing that residents continue to enjoy the full benefits of democracy.
