IBEJU-LEKKI EMBARKS ON REVIEW OF COUNCIL'S DEPARTMENTS/UNITS ACTIVITIES... In a bid to key into the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government's new administration's Vision and set goals, Management Members today held a-day Departmental/Unit's Reportage Session in preparation for a 2-Day Retreat for top technocrats of the Council Area. Mrs Bunmi Adeleye, the Consultant who coordinated the session stated that there is need for the session so as to know how viable and sellable the Ibeju- Lekki Local Government vision is under the new leadership of Hon.(Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, the Executive Chairman. Mrs Adeleye also reiterated on the need for Heads of Departments and Units to look beyond the present and into the future of Science and Technology for only then can this Administration achieve the dream of taking the Council Area to the desired height. The Council Manager, Engr. Mrs. Olubunmi Akitoye applauded the epoch programme and promised on behalf of other Management Members to give in their best to make Ibeju-Lekki great. The Council Mayor, Hon. Olowa who later joined the session in his closing remarks enjoined Management Members to continue to align with the vision of the new leadership and to work together to achieve targeted goals. "There is going to be a continuous review and monitoring of programmes, especially in the area of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to know if we are progressing "the Council Mayor said. Hon. Olowa, however, thanked the participants for their support of this Administration so far.
