The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, convened a strategic security meeting with representatives of security agencies, traditional institutions, Community Development Committees (CDC), and the Association of Primary School Head teachers within the local government area.
The meeting provided a platform for critical discussions on the security situation across communities and schools, as well as measures to strengthen collaboration among relevant stakeholders in safeguarding lives and property.
Addressing participants, Hon. Olowa stressed that security remains a shared responsibility and called for sustained cooperation, vigilance, and timely information sharing among all stakeholders. He noted that effective collaboration between government, security agencies, community leaders, and educational institutions is essential to maintaining peace and public safety across Ibeju-Lekki.
The Chairman reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to supporting initiatives and partnerships that enhance security and promote a safe environment for residents, businesses, and educational institutions within the local government.
