The Committee on the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) today Thursday 16th October, 2025 has officially concluded its one-week registration exercise across Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, recording impressive participation across all wards. Ward-by-Ward Enrollment Summary. Ward A – 1,218 registrants. Ward B – 1,240 registrants. Ward C1 – 1,215 registrants. Ward C2 – 889 registrants. Ward D – 985 registrants. Ward E – 1,494 registrants. Ward F – 1,375 registrants. Total physical enrollment: 8,416 residents Online registration: 2,932 residents. Overall total: 11,348 beneficiaries. The figures reflect the successful completion of the one-week registration programme, which combined physical and online methods to ensure maximum inclusion and accessibility for residents in both rural and coastal communities. Chairman’s Remarks. During the presentation of the final report, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, commended the Committee for their diligence and dedication throughout the exercise. He noted that the Social Register will serve as a critical tool for data-driven policymaking, welfare planning, and other social intervention initiatives under his administration. Hon. Olowa emphasized that the initiative is in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reaffirming the local government’s commitment to supporting the President’s vision of lifting millions of Nigerians out of poverty through targeted social investments. The Council Mayor further stressed that the register will be periodically updated to accommodate new entrants as the local government continues to empower residents toward financial independence. He reiterated that the process, from verification and approval to card issuance and disbursement will be transparent, fair, and fully digitized. The Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer under the Hon. Olowa-led administration represents a deliberate effort to support the President’s policy direction and to build a financially empowered and socially inclusive Ibeju-Lekki.
