In a strategic move to strengthen grassroots education delivery and align field operations with the Hon Olowa led administration's priorities, Mr. Sodiq Agbaje, the new Supervisor for Education and Library Services in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, accompanied by the Head of Department, Mrs. Ganiat Belo, today Wednesday 11th March, 2026 commenced a familiarization tour of the Local Government Education Area Office in Ibeju-Agbe. The visit underscores the commitment of the Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa-led administration to fostering inclusive, quality education across the local government area. As part of readiness efforts to advance the Chairman's vision, the tour enables direct engagement with education stakeholders, assessment of ongoing programs, and identification of opportunities to enhance teaching and learning environments in local schools. During the tour, Mr. Agbaje who was with the Executive Secretary, Alhaji W. Onibeju, interacted with education officers, staff, and community representatives at the Ibeju-Agbe office. Discussions focused on prospects in primary and secondary education, library services, teacher welfare, infrastructure needs, and student enrollment strategies amid the rapid growth and industrialization in the Ibeju-Lekki corridor. The Ibeju-Lekki Local Government remains dedicated to its cardinal pillars of infrastructural development, economic strengthening, social services enhancement with education as a priority.
