Inspection Tour of Baba Adisa, Alakun, Igando, Ofiran, Onosa, and Alatishe Communities In response to the persistent flooding affecting several communities in Ibeju-Lekki, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, led an inspection tour of some of the flood-prone areas. The communities visited include Baba Adisa, Alakun, Elepete, Igando-Oloja, and Alatishe. Accompanied by Supervisors and officials from the Environmental and Works Departments, Hon. Olowa expressed deep concern over the rampant disregard for building regulations, noting that indiscriminate construction and poor drainage compliance have worsened the flooding situation. He assured residents that a technical committee will be inaugurated to review the situation and recommend appropriate measures to tackle the flooding challenge.
