HON. OLOWA MEETS WITH MAYFAIR GARDENS ESTATE RESIDENTS, PLEDGES AN ALL INCLUSIVE GOVERNANCE IF RE-ELECTED

Ahead of the Local Government polls scheduled to take place on Saturday 12th July, 2025, and in a bid to seek the support of the people, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa alongside the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo, the Director-General of the Campaign Organization, Hon. Babatunde Quadri Idogun, former Lagos State House of Assembly Member, Hon. Adewale Raheem Kazeem and the APC Local Government party Chairman, Hon. Babatunde Aliasau Eletu, berthed at Mayfair Gardens Estate as they met with residents and stakeholders. Speaking to the audience, Hon. Olowa appreciated them for the warm reception accorded to him and his entire team. Upon assumption of office in 2021, the Council boss hinted the audience that, one major thing that struck him was how to bridge the gap between the Government and the governed which his administration has been able to do successfully. The Mayor enlightened the audience that indeed, the Local Government is experiencing a rapid transformation as he assured them that with this fast growth, future investments are safe in the Council Area. Speaking further about making a statement with the votes which will be held on Saturday, Hon. Olowa in a tone of unity, admonished the audience about collective interest as the number of votes garnered will place the Local Government at a vantage position to negotiate for dividends of democracy. The Council boss gave an account of stewardship of his administration over the last three years while giving them hints on the S.H.I.E.E.L.D agenda which will be worthwhile in the next dispensation as he rounded it up by seeking the support of the residents in the elections. The DG Campaign Organization, Hon. Babatunde Quadri Idogun expressed happiness in regards to the warm welcome accorded to them. He assured the Estate residents that they can always count on the Mayor whom he described as "an intelligent man with a strong focus". Chairman of Mayfair Gardens, Mr. John acknowledged that they are privy to all the good works of Hon. Olowa as the Local Government has witnessed a huge turn around since taking over as the Council's helmsman. He encouraged him not to relent as the good people of Mayfair Gardens will continue to give him the needed support.
