HON.OLOWA FETES WITH HIS VICE, ON 40TH DAY PRAYERS FOR HRM OBA LAMORIU KAYODE ISIAKA

In a display of solidarity and deep respect for family and tradition, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa on 18th January, 2026 was a guest at the solemn and well-attended 40th day prayer ceremony in honor of the late father of his Vice Chairman, Hon. Isiaka Yusif Olatunji. The event commemorated the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Lamoriu Kayode Isiaka, a revered traditional ruler who has joined his ancestors. The prayers, held in accordance with Islamic customs marking the 40th day after departure, provided an opportunity for family, friends, community leaders, and well-wishers to offer supplications for the repose of the departed monarch's soul and to console the bereaved family. The ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including, Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola, Member representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, and Hon. Razaq Bamidele Kasali, Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA. Other notable attendees included political associates, community elders, religious leaders, and residents who came to pay their last respects and share in the moment of reflection and prayer.
