The Office of Political, Legislative, and Civic Engagement, under the Lagos State Government, successfully hosted a high-impact Stakeholders and Community Engagement Meeting today. The event which held at Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa, brought together over 50 key stakeholders, including Council Chairmen, Community representatives, Civic leaders, and Government officials, to foster collaborative solutions for community development. Representing the Conference 57 Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa was his Chief of Staff, Mr. Issa Maruf Olayinka who In a candid and solution-driven address during the Stakeholders and Community Engagement Meeting, tackled pressing community concerns on waste collection inefficiencies and the widespread misunderstanding surrounding double taxation, levies, and penalties. The meeting with the Theme: Empowering Voices, Shaping Policies, focused on the core objectives of addressing community issues, facilitating feedback, promoting civic engagement and strategies with which the grassroots can be well communicated.
