Today Saturday 8th March 2025; we celebrate the International Women’s Day 2025, a day dedicated to recognizing the incredible achievements and contributions of women across the globe. Indeed, Women have played pivotal roles in shaping societies, leading movements, and transforming industries. From science and politics to business and the arts, they continue to break barriers and redefine possibilities. The theme for this year, “Empower, Inspire, Elevate”, is a call to action. It urges us to uplift the women around us, ensuring they have equal opportunities to thrive and succeed. Empowering women means giving them the tools, education, and confidence to take charge of their own lives. It means dismantling the biases that hold them back and fostering an environment where they are valued and respected. Our administration has made progress, through various empowerment programmes and advocacy for the women folk in our society as we are committed to continue to do more for them.
