The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa today Saturday 25th July, 2026 led representatives of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation on an inspection of critical roads across the Local Government Area, as part of efforts to secure intervention and support from the Lagos State Government.
The inspection covered roads in Idado, Akodo, Taro Kayetoro, Adeba and Abijo GRA, providing an opportunity to assess their current conditions and identify areas requiring attention.
The Chairman's engagement with the Lagos State Public Works Corporation reflects his administration's determination to pursue sustainable solutions to the road challenges confronting communities across Ibeju-Lekki.
With the Local Government experiencing rapid growth and increased economic activities, Hon. Olowa reiterated the importance of improving road infrastructure to enhance connectivity, ease movement and support the socio-economic development of the area.
The administration remains committed to working with the Lagos State Government and relevant stakeholders to attract the necessary interventions that will improve the quality of roads and make movement across Ibeju-Lekki easier for residents and businesses.
