FIRE SERVICE STATION FLAG OFF: HON. OLOWA CALLS ON IBEJU-AGBE CITIZENS FOR MAXIMUM CO-OPERATION

Citizens and residents of Ibeju-Agbe community trooped out in their numbers on 14th November, 2024 as they received the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa and the representative of the Managing Director of the Lagos State Lottery and Gaming Authority, Mr. Olaseni Tanko as the flag off of the Fire Service Station Construction kicked off. Hon. Olowa who was accompanied by the Vice Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Fasali Adewale Adebanjo and the entire Executive Cabinet members, appreciated the Lagos Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for fulfilling his promise and the Lagos State Lottery and Gaming Authority for facilitating the Fire Service Station Project. Speaking further while appreciating His Royal Majesty, The Onibeju of Ibeju Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Waliu Olasunkanmi Oguntolu, the Chiefs and the entire good people of Ibeju-Agbe, Hon. Olowa affirmed that the siting of the Fire Service Station will bring good tidings as well as attract direct investment to the land. While briefing the audience on the activities of his administration in clearing the waterways, the Council Boss used the opportunity to hint the people of the need to go into the aqua-economy of fishing as it is a commercial activity that will bring economic prospects. Mr. Olaseni Tanko who represented the Managing Director of the Lagos State Lottery and Gaming Authority, Mr. Bashiru Areh, assured that the project will run its full course without any form of hinderance as he solicited for the support of the community members in ensuring that it becomes a reality. The Fire Service Station in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government will be the first of its kind as it will be handled by Talent Construction Limited, headed by Engr. Saliu Adefolawe. With the Station in place, all fears about safety will surely be gone.
