FG SET TO CONSTRUCT 2 X 7.5 MVA INJECTION SUBSTATION AND 5O KM 33 KV DEDICATED LINE IN IBEJU - LEKKI: AS LOCAL GOVERNMENT DONATES LAND FOR PROJECT

The long standing power outage in the ibeju lekki coastal communities will soon be a thing of the past as Federal Government set to commence the installation of 50 km 33 kV dedication line for the 2X 7.5 MVA injection substation . The officials of the Federal Ministry of power , EKDC and the contractor met with the Council Chairman at the Local Government Secretariat . The Local Government under the administration of the dynamic Mayor Sesan Olowa has before now donated a land for the construction of the Substation at Eleko Junction and has also assured the contractor and the Ministry of adequate support to ensure the realization of the project . The project is in the Year 2025 appropriation bill as approved and the Ministry is doing everything possible to seek for funding for the multi-billion naira project . The Local Government plans to hold a stakeholders meeting on the proposed project very soon .
