EXECUTIVES OF SECRETARIES TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS ACROSS LAGOS STATE, PAY COURTESY VISIT TO CONFERENCE 57 CHAIRMAN

The Executives (Excos) of Secretaries to Local Governments across Lagos State today Wednesday 15th April, 2026 paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Chairman of Conference 57 (the body of Chairmen of the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas in Lagos State). The delegation commended Hon. Olowa for his steadfast leadership and support for the local government administration. The leader of the Excos thanked the Chairman for all he has been doing to strengthen the system and formally sought his continued cooperation and guidance as the Excos move forward with their responsibilities. In his response, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa thanked the delegation for the visit and shared insightful advice on how the Secretaries can work more effectively with their respective Chairmen. He wished them success in their duties and reaffirmed his commitment to collaborative governance. The Chairman further assured the Excos that the door of Conference 57 remains open to them. “If you need anything on behalf of the Conference, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I will ensure it is presented to the full Conference for appropriate action,” he stated. The visit is seen as a significant step towards fostering stronger synergy between the Secretaries to Local Governments and the Chairmen, aimed at delivering better governance and development at the grassroots level in Lagos State.
