EDUCATION: WEEKEND TUTORIAL CLASSES YIELD COMMENDABLE RESULTS AS 11 STUDENTS EARN SCHOLARSHIP VIA PAN ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY (PAU) AND IBEJU-LEKKI LOCAL GOVERNMENT

Prioritization and investment in Education by ibeju-Lekki Local Government under the Leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa is fast yielding positive results as Eleven students from the organized and sponsored weekend tutorial classes performed exceptionally at west African Examinations Council's Exam, despite the high numbers of students who failed as reported by the examination body. You will recalled that Education is one of the key sector focused on by the Olowa led administration since its inception four years ago till date, and in its efforts to empower the youths of the locality, ibeju-Lekki Local Government as partnered with Pan Atlantic University via Scholarship to deserving students, who has proven exceptional in their studies. The joint collaboration between the two institutions will ensure that 98% of the tuition Fee is sponsored by the Pan Atlantic University while the remaining 2% which covers accommodation and feeding allowances is taken care of by Ibeju-Lekki Local Government. With this laudable initiatives by the Mayor more students will be able to actualize their dreams in their chosen fields and earn a decent living through employment and Vocation of their choice.
