The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has condemned the indiscriminate dumping of refuse in Oribanwa, Eputu, and Lagasa, describing the act as unacceptable and harmful to public health and the environment.
Chairman Olowa stated that the Local Government, in partnership with LAWMA, commits substantial resources to waste evacuation and environmental sanitation, urging residents to support these efforts by disposing of waste responsibly through approved channels.
He warned that anyone caught engaging in illegal waste disposal will face the full weight of the law, stressing that environmental regulations will be strictly enforced.
The Chairman called on all residents to embrace civic responsibility and work together to keep Ibeju-Lekki clean, safe, and healthy for everyone.
