Recognising that lasting progress depends on strong public institutions, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa on 26th June, 2026 inspected key education and healthcare projects across the Local Government, reviewing ongoing interventions and announcing additional improvements aimed at strengthening essential public services.
His first stop was Mopo Ijebu Primary School, where renovation works are progressing. Following an assessment of the project, the Chairman announced that the school will also benefit from the construction of a perimeter fence and the provision of a borehole to improve security and provide a reliable source of water for pupils, teachers, and the school community.
At Debojo Primary Health Centre, Hon. Olowa inspected the ongoing rehabilitation of the facility and announced that the perimeter fence of the health centre will be raised as part of ongoing efforts to improve security and create a more functional environment for efficient primary healthcare service delivery.
The inspection concluded at Iberekodo Primary School, where the Chairman announced a comprehensive rehabilitation of the school to restore and upgrade critical facilities, creating a safer, more conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers.
Taken together, these interventions reflect an administration that understands the importance of investing in the institutions people depend on every day. Better schools create better learning environments. Stronger primary healthcare facilities improve access to quality care.
