At the onset of Hon. Abdullah Olowa's administration, the Awoyaya Primary Health Centre was one of the few functioning healthcare facilities in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, providing 24-hour medical services to the residents. Recognizing the need to expand and sustain this impact, the administration took strategic steps to improve its infrastructure and service delivery. Under this administration, an additional facility was constructed within the Awoyaya PHC premises. This new building is fully equipped with modern medical tools and dedicated spaces for record-keeping and family planning consultations, significantly improving the efficiency and scope of healthcare services provided. In addition to these, the administration renovated the existing wards and procured additional beds and furniture to improve the hospital's capacity to deliver basic healthcare services. This bold intervention aligns with the developmental goals of the administration and contributes to the attainment of global objectives aimed at improving grassroots and community-based healthcare delivery.
