APC RECONCILIATION COMMITTEE BREEZES IN TO IBEJU-LEKKI LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ADMONISHES UNITY AND PATIENCE AMONGST PARTY FAITHFULS

The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) reconciliation committee led by the South-West Organizing Secretary, Dr. Lateef Ibirogba visited Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, which served as a converging point for Lekki LCDA as well, as part of its statewide tour to engage aggrieved aspirants and party faithfuls, following the recently concluded Chairmanship/Councillorship Primary elections as the Executive Chairmen for Ibeju-Lekki Lekki LCDA, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa and Hon. Razak Bamidele Kasali were in attendance. Dr. Lateef Ibirogba while addressing the audience stated that the purpose of the visit was to felicitate with the party members on the recent Sallah celebrations and to address issues leading to grievances amongst the APC family as well as forging a united front. While also pleading with them to stay strong and firm, he advised the members to sue for peace “as the sky is large enough for birds to fly” as he stressed that compensation and rewards comes from God Almighty. Delivering a heartfelt message from the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who urged all party members to remain calm and focused, the nation’s number one helmsman assured them that no one will be left behind as the dividends of democracy will surely get to everyone who has joined in baking the National cake. Party members and Aspirants were given the opportunity to express themselves as everyone spoke passionately. The meeting ended on a good note as stalwarts and other members went home with high hopes and renewed vigour of helping in ensuring the success of the party at all levels. In attendance were Apex leaders, Women leaders, Ward Chairmen as well as members comprising all the wards in both Local Governments and Local Council Developing Areas.
