AMERICAN INVESTORS, MR. AND MRS. OLUBUNMI NICOLE JAMES SHULER SUPPORT HON. OLOWA'S DRIVE FOR TECHNOLOGY; DONATES COMPUTER SYSTEMS

In a significant boost to digital empowerment and economic development in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, Mr. James B. Shuler and Mrs. Nicole Olubunmi Shuler, prominent investors from New Jersey, United States, today Friday 27th March, 2026 donated 30 sets of computers to the council. The donation aims to strengthen Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure within the local government, enabling better service delivery, digital skills development for residents, and enhanced opportunities for job creation in the rapidly growing area. Receiving the computers on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa was the Director, Admin and Human Resources, Mr. Sotubo Adeyemi who welcomed the gesture and thanked the Shulers for their continued investment and support for the area. "This donation underscores the important role of private sector partnerships in advancing grassroots development and aligns with broader efforts to position Ibeju-Lekki as a leading destination for investment, tourism, and innovation in Lagos State. We appreciate and would surely put it to judicious use" he said. Speaking on the donation, the donors represented by Alhaja Elegushi expressed their belief in the transformative power of technology: “We are excited to contribute to the growth of Ibeju-Lekki, a community that has welcomed us warmly through our hospitality projects. Empowering the local government with modern ICT tools is a step toward creating a digitally skilled workforce and fostering long-term economic prosperity.” Mr. and Mrs. Shuler are key players in Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality sector. They are the proud owners of the NJS Royale Event and Conference Center (also known as NJC Event and Conference Center) located at Richland Gardens Estate, along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Ibeju-Lekki, as well as the NJC Royal Beach Resort situated at Mushirikogo, Km 29, Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, Ibeju-Lekki.
