A Non-Governmental Organization, Ade-Otukomaya Foundation, led by its founder and CEO, Mr. Adebanjo Otukomaya, yesterday Monday 17th February, 2025 paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa. Also in attendance were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo and the Supervisor for education, Hon. Ogungbo Temitope Sofwan. In his address, Hon. Olowa lauded Mr. Ade Otukomaya, who is also the Administrative Controller of the Lekki Free Zone Development Company, as a distinguished son of the soil who has carved a niche for himself through his stellar career accomplishments and his exemplary passion for philanthropy. The Council boss went further to unveil the reason for the visit, announcing to the audience that the foundation would be supporting the Local Government with 150 free JAMB forms for indigent students and sponsorship of youths for vocational training in various fields. The founder and CEO of Ade-Otukomaya Foundation, Mr. Adebanjo Otukomaya, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception extended to him and his team. He appreciated the Executive Chairman for spearheading the all-round development of the Council Area, stating that the administration’s commendable strides motivated the foundation to partner with the Local Government. Speaking further, he outlined the NGO’s social intervention programs which include: i. Giving out One hundred and fifty (150) JAMB forms to students in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government. ii. Sponsorship of vocational training program for youths iii. Annual disbursement of education grant to the 10 performers in the JAMB examinations. The Founder of the NGO also presented a cheque of Nine Hundred Thousand Naira (#900,000.00) to cover the cost of the JAMB forms and a brochure detailing foundation's activities to the Executive Chairman.The Council Manager, Mr. Oladipupo Otinwa expressed his profound gratitude on behalf of all and prayed that the partnership would leave a lasting legacy in the annals of the Ibeju-Lekki. The Ade-Otukomaya foundation is a non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering individuals through vocational skills training and educational upliftment of underprivileged students.
