IBEJU-LEKKI LOCAL GOVERNMENT HOLDS YEAR 2026 ANNUAL PROCUREMENT RETREAT

Ibeju-Lekki Local Government under the Leadership of Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa holds the year 2026 Procurement Retreat, with the Theme, " Strategic Procurement Plan through Collaboration to Develop Actionable Goals For Year 2026" on Friday 17th October, 2025 at the Secretariat Hall, Igando-Oloja, Lekki Epe Expressway Lagos. The Executive Chairman, Hon. (Engr) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, whom was ably represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, speaking at the event welcome participants to a robust and engaging discussion aimed at fostering collaborative relationships with major service providers and ensuring consistency in quality and reliable supply and service. The Guest Speaker and Facilitator, From Lagos State, Public Procurement Agency, Deputy Director, Subair, addressing the gathering at the event stated that Strategic Procurement stands as a collective term for a company wide, comprehensive, and ongoing process aimed at driving long term value through procurement activities. Speaking further, he emphasized that Strategic procurement is important because it aligns with and supports overall business goals by optimizing costs, improving efficiency, mitigating risks, and driving innovation. He noted that, by focusing on long-term value and strategic supplier relationships, companies can gain a significant competitive advantage, improve product/service quality, and ensure business continuity.
