Officials of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) led by Engr. Konyeha Osita visited the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa and officials of the Local Government Council in his office. Welcoming the officials was the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo who represented the Executive Chairman. The purpose of the visit is to update the Local Government officials on the proposed green line project which is to run from Marina in Lagos Island down to Lekkk Free Trade Zone in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government. This strategic infrastructural development is set to redefine transportation in the Lekki-Epe Corridor as well as the entire Lagos State. As part of the project management process, LAMATA will be holding a stakeholders engagement with residents and businesses within the Lekki-Epe corridor, i.e Eti-Osa, Ibeju-Lekki and Epe. The date of the stakeholders meeting will be communicated soon. Present at the meeting were, the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman, Mr. Issa Moruf Olayinka, the Human Resource and Admin Head, Mr. Sotubo Adeyemi, Head of Audit department, Mr. Kayode Oyegunle, Head of Information, Mr. Idowu Olaojubu, P. A Admin, Mr. Lanre Yusuf Tobun.
