IBEJU-LEKKI LOCAL GOVERNMENT HOLDS A 3 DAY RETREAT AIMED AT ENHANCING EFFICIENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION

The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa on Friday 17th January, 2025 organised a three (3) days Retreat Training tagged, "Enhancing Efficiency And Accountability in Local Government Administration, for Executive Members and Management Team of the prestigious Organisation. Addressing Participants at the event, the Mayor implored all to discharge their respective official duties with high sense of commitment and responsibility and to embrace new perspectives, innovations and ideas with great sense of focus and determination to achieve the organisation"s purpose and enhance productivity. Speaking further, he enjoined participants to learn and unlearn old methods of operating and embrace new ways and views of discharging official duties respectively, especially at this era of Local Government Autonomy, noting that, it will no longer be business as usual, going forward. In conclusion, the helmsman admonished participants to ensure due diligence and professionalism is embarked on, at every point of discharging every official functions accordingly.
