PROVISION OF ADEQUATE MEDICAL CARE; ARAPAGI COMMUNITY GETS NEW PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRE. The Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Administration under the leadership of her astute Executive Chairman,Hon.(Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa has spread its Infrastructural tentacles to Arapagi Community of the council area where the construction of a new Primary Health Centre is ongoing to address the medical challenges of residents of the area. The project which started few weeks ago was necessary in order for Arapagi residents to seek medical attention within instead of travelling miles for help. The structure will be furnished with medical equipments,Drugs Medical Personnel and will start operation in due course. In thesame vein,just like the people of Ayeteju applauded the Local Government for coming to their aid after the renovation and upgrade of Ayeteju PHC,the people of Arapagi should also expect full Health Care Services after completion. PROGRESS REPORT ON THE ONGOING CONSTRUCTION OF THE ULTRA MODERN COUNCIL SECRETARIAT

The Ibeju-Lekki Council Mayor; Engr. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa and some of his Executive Members today  Tuesday 3rd October, 2023 visited the site of the ongoing construction of the Council’s Ultramodern Secretariat to see the progress of work done so far. Hon. Olowa commended Engineers on site for the use of standard materials and spurred them to speed up the work pace in order for the project to be delivered as at when due. The Hon. Sesan Olowa Administration is committed to providing a conducive work environment as well as poised at implementing commendable welfare packages for Staff and the Political Office Holders. The project will be delivered next year as planned, Hon. Olowa Stated.

OLOWA ADMINISTRATION COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION OF BOX CULVERTS IN IBEJU-AGBE

The Ibeju-Lekki Local Government under the leadership of her performing Executive Chairman, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa recently completed the construction of two Public Box Culverts in Ibeju-Agbe Community. The constructions embarked upon 3 weeks ago in Work-Yard and Ibeju-Agbe Primary Health Centre areas are targeted at creating links between adjoining roads of the community which were initially not passable nor motorable for easy access. This is a clear indication that the Hon. Olowa led Administration is committed to Infrastructural Development that relieves as well as support the growth of benefitting communities and others in the pipeline.

GROUND BREAKING OF IDI-ABA ULTRA MODERN MARKET

Another feat was achieved Thursday 18th May, 2023 by Ibeju-Lekki Local Government under the leadership of Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa who officially laid the block of an Ultra-Modern Multi Level Market Complex at Idi-Aba in Eleko Area of the Local Government. The pragmatic Executive Chairman of the Council Area, Hon. Olowa in his opening remark lauded the partnership between the parties as it is an avenue to not only boost the economic stance of the Council but also to bring the act of buying and selling close to communities. The Director of Works and Infrastructures of the Council, Engr. Rotimi Okunowo expanciated on the proposed structure and promised his Department will oversee the project for its prompt delivery. The Top Royal Links and Kazolak Construction Nigeria Limited who are partners promised to deliver the laudable project in 12months. Mayor Olowa with prayers laid the first block of the project. He also urged contractors to hasten the project and hand over in due course. The Leader of the Council, Hon. Olayinka Mojeed Oluwafemi expressed his happiness for being part of the development progress made by  this  Administration. Also present at the Ground Breaking were the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo, the Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Saheed Olasunkanmi who gave the vote of thanks, the Supervisor for Agriculture and Social Services, Hon. Kareem Muyideen, the Supervisor for Health, Hon. Sindiku Oniwonlu, the Supervisor for Education and Library Services, Hon. Sofwan Ogungbo, the Supervisor for Budget, Planning and Statistics, Hon. Balogun Hakeem,the S A on Works and Infrastructures, Hon. Fatai Alonge, the Supervisor for Civic Engagement, Hon. Wakilat Odupe, Representatives of Partner Construction Companies, notable stakeholders amongst others.

ROAD REHABILITATION: OLOWA LINKS UP IBA OLOJA COMMUNITY

Following the promise of the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Hon. (Engr.) Olowa led Administration to provide access roads to adjoining communities within the Local Government, the entourage of the Council Area consisting of the helmsman and Executive Members today visited Iba Oloja Community where a link Road is being rehabilitated to connect the community to other communities in the Council Area. The Council Mayor reiterated the commitment of his Administration to leave no community behind in the area of development. In the same vain, the Mayor’s Team also seized the opportunity to visit the Community Primary School,  Iba Oloja where the Executive Chairman promised to inform the  Schools Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) for the upgrade of the citadel of learning. The Supervisor for Education, Hon. Sofwan Temitope Ogungbo also promised incentives of school bags and stationeries to students of the school. The Community Primary Health Care Centre was nor left out with an assurance of setting the wheel in motion  by liaising with relevant agencies and stakeholders to transform the health facility. The Traditional Ruler of the Community, Chief Tajudeen Dada and other members expressed their thankfulness as the Chairman’s visit is a sign that the Iba Oloja Community will experience major developments.

MOPO-MONASTERY ROAD CONSTRUCTION: IBEJU-LEKKI LG AND ETI-OSA LCDA COLLABORATE WITH MEDALLION DATA CENTRE LIMITED.

Another feat was achieved today Wednesday  8th February,  2023 by Ibeju-Lekki Local Government when the Monastery -Mopo Ogombo Road Construction was officially flagged-off by the astute Executive Chairman of the Council Area, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa in conjunction with the Medallion Data Centre Limited who is a partner in this laudable project. The Mopo-Monastery Road which is  located and linked both boundaries of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Eti-Osa (East) Local Council Development Area will be of immense  measure to tackle the menace of traffic congestions along these routes. The Executive Chairman in his remarks applauded Medallion Data Centre Limited for imbibing the project as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fully funded to enhance Infrastructural Development and general growth of the grassroot. Mayor Olowa, cut the flag-off tape with prayers while  he also urged Skyline Builders Limited who is the contractor on site to hasten the project and hand over in due time. The Project Manager, Turner and Townsend Limited stated that the 4.2klm road project will be for the duration of 6months while also soliciting for the support of residents along this corridor. At the Flag-off were the Executive Chairman of Eti-osa East LCDA, Hon. John Campos, the Vice Chairman, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo, the Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Saheed Olasunkanmi, the Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Fatai Alonge, Representatives of Partner Companies, notable stakeholders amongst others.

GROUND BREAKING: IBEJU-LEKKI LOCAL GOVERNMENT COMMENCES THE CONSTRUCTION OF ITS ULTRA MODERN COUNCIL SECRETARIAT.

The Executive Chairman, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa yesterday Friday, 3rd February, 2023 commence the ground breaking of the construction of the Ultra Modern Secretariat Complex in Igando -Oloja thereby fulfilling his promise to rebuild the former office building razed during the END SARS protest in Year 2020. The Executive Chairman while addressing Officials at the site Committed the project into the hand of Almighty God for its completion. The Secretariat Project is awarded to SULTRADOC CONSTRUCTION LIMITED and will be completed within the period of 18 months as stipulated by the site Engineer, Engr. Olawale Oloyede and to be supervised by the Department of Works and Infrastructure under the headship of Engr. Rotimi Okunowo and the Supervisor for the Department, Hon. Mutiu Saheed Olasunkanmi. Also at the ground breaking were the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, the Council Legislative Leader, Hon. Mojeed Oluwafemi, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo, the Special Adviser for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Alonge Fatai, other Executive Members, the Council Manager, Engr. (Mrs) Olubunmi Akitoye, other Management Members, Staff and many others.
