At the beginning of this administration, one of the key pillars of Jaja the development agenda was Environmental Sustainability. The administration, led by Hon. Abdullahi Sesan, demonstrated seriousness by initiating the clearing of refuse dump sites and establishing a dedicated team known as the Cleaner Ibeju Lekki Initiative. Another significant development is the introduction of Keke Jaja, which will be used to collect waste from different locations, contributing to waste reduction, especially during the rainy season. In a few weeks, residents will be able to participate in the waste disposal scheme, as details will be communicated in due time.
