The Executive Chairman, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa yesterday Friday, 3rd February, 2023 commence the ground breaking of the construction of the Ultra Modern Secretariat Complex in Igando -Oloja thereby fulfilling his promise to rebuild the former office building razed during the END SARS protest in Year 2020.
The Executive Chairman while addressing Officials at the site Committed the project into the hand of Almighty God for its completion.
The Secretariat Project is awarded to SULTRADOC CONSTRUCTION LIMITED and will be completed within the period of 18 months as stipulated by the site Engineer, Engr. Olawale Oloyede and to be supervised by the Department of Works and Infrastructure under the headship of Engr. Rotimi Okunowo and the Supervisor for the Department, Hon. Mutiu Saheed Olasunkanmi.
Also at the ground breaking were the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji, the Council Legislative Leader, Hon. Mojeed Oluwafemi, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo, the Special Adviser for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Alonge Fatai, other Executive Members, the Council Manager, Engr. (Mrs) Olubunmi Akitoye, other Management Members, Staff and many others.
