The Epe Frontier yesterday Sunday 18th December, 2022 organised A Day Free Medical Mission in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government offering services like Free Eye Screening and Distribution of Free Eye Glasses,Hypertension and Diabetes Screening,Treatment of Ailments,etc.
This programme was put together to promote the achievements of the topmost leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also His Excellency ,Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State for their unprecedented contributions to the development of Epe Division and Lagos State at large.
In his remark, the Executive Chairman,
Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa applauded the brains behind the non governmental group, Epe Frontier for putting the interest of the people first. He said”When elites come together in the interest of the people,they should be regarded as Progressives and they deserve more than accolades so they can do more”
The Council Mayor also reiterated on the commitment of his Administration to use the Free Medical Mission as a strategy to consolidate on the Council’s achievements in the Health Sector.
Hon. Olowa emphasised on the importance of celebrating efforts of living legends.
Why delivering his keynote address,
Hon. Adeleke Ligali who led the Frontier team to the Council Area commended the turn out while reiterating on the need for regular medical checks.
He promised the beneficiaries more largesse from other sectors throughout Epe Division.
Hon. Adeleke, however,implored the people to get their Permanent Voters’ Card(PVC) and vote for the All Progressives Congress candidates come year 2023 general elections.
The Epe Frontier is a Non profit organisation but our allegiance is to the All Progressives Congress,he said.
Also at the occasion were Hon. Abiola Olowu, Special Adviser on Commerce Industry & Cooperatives to the Governor, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo, the Deputy Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Musbau Olorunju, Legislative Member, Hon. Afeez Ajewole, the Supervisor for Health, Hon. Sindiku Oniwonlu who gave the welcome address amongst other Honorable Supervisors, other Epe Frontiers like Alhaji Shakiru Omotayo, Mr. Sesan Kareem Badmus, the Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Kehinde Ososanya, Health Personnel, Special Assistants amongst others.
