The Council Chairman, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa on 23rd November, 2022 visited Iwerekun Community where he inspected the new-look Iwerekun primary school whose renovation was recently facilitated by Distinguished Senator Adetokunbo Abiru. During his interaction with community leaders at the school premises, the Chairman noted that perimeter fence and toilet are two complementary facilities that would be urgently provided for the school to ensure security and hygiene of the pupils and the school environment.
The chairman also touched on the state of the community access road and further clarified that funding constraint was responsible for the delay in rehabilitating the road as the firm earlier contacted to handle the job proposed a bill that was way beyond the local governments’ capacity. He however promised immediate stabilization of the road to ease vehicular movement.
In the same vein, the Supervisor for Education, Hon Tope Ogungbo on behalf of the Chairman also inspected Solu Alade & Alatishe Primary Schools being constructed by Hon, Prince Bayo Balagun (MHR) to appreciate the marvelous job Bibire is doing and thanked the MHR for the good job he is doing.
