The Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa on Monday 27th June, 2022 hosted inter- denominational prayers to commemorate the 57th birthday anniversary of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, a program which is being held simultaneously in all the 57 LGAs and LCDAs across the State.
The event which had in attendance, the Vice Chairman of the Local Government, Hon Yusuf Isiaka Olatunji and the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Mojeed Olayinka, had party faithful’s and lovers of the Governor who trooped out in their numbers to grace the occasion.
Hon Olowa in his address to the audience, extolled the virtues of the hardworking Governor who has made positive impacts in Lagos State and has touched virtually all sectors and performed creditably well. He asked the audience to continually pray for more wisdom for the Governor in his pursuit of excellence for the state.
Speaking further, the Council Chairman called for prayers for the Presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while going down memory lane on the Jagaban Borgu’s antecedents as a core democrat, as he enlightened the audience on the benefits the Local Government Council stands to gain with an Asiwaju presidency.
Hon. Olowa enjoined the people to get their PVC for the forthcoming election year, while also calling for support for all the elected flag bearers of the party.
Prayers were offered by both the Christian and Islamic faiths on behalf of the celebrant and other elected representatives.
Also present are the Councilors representing various wards; Hon. Musibau Shuaib Olorunju, Hon. Razaq Aromire Abidemi, Hon. Shefiu Ajewole, Hon. Tunde Ogungbo (Gbedemuke) and the Supervisory Councillors, Hon. Mutiu Saheed (Anjorin), Hon. Muyideen Kareem, Hon. S. O. Oniwonlu, Hon. Akeem Balogun, Hon. Ajibola Elemoro, Hon. Olusola Edalere, Hon. Wakilat Odupe, the APC Senatorial District Youth Leader, Hon. Balogun Kazeem Gbenga, Management Staff, amongst others.
