LAGOS ASSEMBLY HOUSE COMMITTEE ON HEALTH VISITS IBEJU-LEKKI LOCAL GOVERNMENT
The Lagos State Assembly Chairman House Committee on Health, Hon. Hakeem Olushola Shokunle and other Committee members on Wednesday 27th October, 2021 paid a working visit to Ibeju-Lekki Local Government.
The Leader of the Council’s Legislative Arm, Hon. Mojeed Olayinka on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa warmly received the August visitors to the council area.
The Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Shokunle explained that it is one of the oversight functions of the Committee to tour Health facilities in the 20 Local Governments and the 37 Local Council Development Areas in the State to ensure all health facilities are in good conditions to provide good health service delivery to the good people of the State.
The Assembly entourage was led by the Leader, Hon. Mojeed, Council Legislators and the Local Government Pharmacist on an inspection of the COVID-19 Vaccine’s storage, the Staff Clinic where free COVID-19 test for all Staff powered by the World Health Organisation (WHO) is ongoing.
